Absolutely love the backdrop to the filming shot around the impressive Brasilian National Congress in Brasilia built at the end of the sixties by Oscar Niemeyer. Just an amazing building. The idea being that a flower will grow in an urban landscape, reflecting the feminine and beauty in the most desolate of places.  Here’s some images from the boutique in Bruton Street W1.

Kenzo’s inspiration from the beginning is based on the photographer Marc Riboud’s image, La jeune fille a la fleur  that went around the world taken on the 21st October 1967 in Washington. The girl in the photo a young American girl Jan Rose Kamir who took part in a protest march against the Vietnam war.
